2 NEW

THUESDAY 110222:

Today we started out earlier and by the end of the day we actually had 2 new songs!
Actually, one of them is a idea that we had for the last album but it really didn´t fit in there. Now it´s got new blood and I think it´s going to be awesome!

         Robert is presenting a new idea for an old song.

The other song is from one of pålles ideas. It´s another heavy one. A lot of the new shit is heavy.
Don´t worry... we´re still (and always will be) suckers for slow anthem-like 80´s-smelling rockballads too so... it´s still tAKiDA.

AT IT AGAIN...

MONDAY 110221

Hey we´re back!
We return to Ånge and our rehersal room for another week of creating.
We´ll spend a couple of days here and hopefully there will be a handful of new tracks ready at the end of the week.
It´s a soft start and we´re only at it for a couple of hours but we actually got a song ready.
It will probably face a few adjustments during the week but it´s a good start.

We wrap it up with a nice hot cup of coffee in the kitchen and discuss a few simple ways to rule.

MONSTER

THUSDAY 110210:

Me and Mattias continue with guitar all day and in the end of the day I come to the conclusion that we have another dark monster in the bank.  It starts out with a heavy riff, followed up by fast guitars and a cool melody on top.   Everything is working just fine recording like this and it sounds really good already.

        Mattias is playing some heavy shit on his Gibson...

Chris wife makes an awesome lasagna for lunch today. It´s the best tasting one I´ve had so far. THANX.
Afterwards it´s back to business (and business is good).
When it comes to recording in the studio, chris is the greatest. He makes you feel relaxed and you get to try every idea even tough it might sound weird in the beginning. If we try it, we might like it. We love him for that (and for alot of other reasons).

             This guy´s wife makes the best lasagna.

We call it a day (week) and leave the studio for now. We´ll be back soon to WRECKORD some new stuff. See ya!!

BACK IN THE HOLE

SUNDAY 110123:

It´s been a while now and you might think we´re lazy... however... that´s not true.
We´ve been to the rehersalroom in Ånge to put some new songs together for example.
We also like those breaks with coffee and food. Here´s a picture to proove it!

We spend a couple of days here and then we´re off to BOXROOM for recording next week.


MONDAY 110207:
Here we are! Back in the studio again.
Krille begins  his drumrecordings for the songs ment to be recorded this week. Sounds good.
We get a visit from our sweet manager Lord Kviman and together we make some evil plans how to conquer this planet.
On this picture, Tomas succesfully brought out the true face of our Manager.

                    Yes. He really IS evil.

TUESDAY 110208:
Still recording drums.... fat f---ing drums by the way!
Had a lunch at our "favourite" pizzaplace where we also met up with our sound and lightengineers.
Two guys from the best crew in the world. They follow us down to the studio to listen to a couple of new tracks.

            Goran (master of lights) seems to like it.


WEDNESDAY 110209:
Time for the stringbenders to get to work!
Mattias and Tomas is all over the guitars and makes it even more fat!
Tomas is using is grey schecter diamond for the dropped tunes and it sounds just great.

                   It makes your head spin.

We´re pretty sick of pizza and kebab now so today we actually make our own lunch.
Macaronies in white sauce with sausage is tasty. And it makes you tired too...

       Krille got tired and fell asleep on his drumkit.

Oh, yeah... I almost forgott.
We found the nicest note today at chris house...

          There´s no funny way to translate it so I won´t.

However, the note was about a coffeemaker anyway so... It kind of left a little to your imagination.
We´re giving up for today and leaving for home.

THURSDAY

We´re back and today we went over the latest 2 songs again.
There was a few adjustments made and now we have some time to kick back and get a feeling to it before it´s recording time.

            Rob is trying to find the greatest chorus

There´s no new song today but the average of 1 song per day is already acheived so we´re pleased.

We got some cool t-shirts from Xzavier today! Check em out... they´re truly awesome.

         The elephant wanted to be in the picture too

2 MORE

Another day in the rehearsal room in Ånge.
We kickstart right away with the one track of the "first four" that wasn´t finished. (remember?)
We got it together and the result is really cool. Lots of attitude and energy. I like it!

-Lunchbreak-
(yes, we continuously eat healthy)

A not-so-nice cup of coffee and a couple of picturedisc signings later it´s time to pick up the axe and dig in with another song.

This second one is also cool. It´s a little bit diffrent from the first one but still energetic in it´s own way.
Confusing?? Not at all!!  =)

We´re done for today and we´ve been somewhat effective today I must say.

NEW SONGS

Today we got together in the rehearsal room for some songwriting.

We took one of Pålles ideas and worked with it for a couple of hours and POW...
that´s another song to the bank!

Every time I switch on my ENGL SOUVEREIGN I can´t help smiling.
That is one fat bastard right there! So small and yet so friggin powerful.
Try it... you might like it!

We´re back tomorrow and hopefully there´s another one coming!
